1. General Terms
By accessing or using the services of May University in Egypt (MUC), you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your enrollment, financial obligations, and the use of university resources.
2. Enrollment and Tuition Fees
- Enrollment in MUC programs is subject to compliance with the admission criteria set by the Supreme Council of Private and National Universities in Egypt.
- Early application ensures admission at specific tuition rates for the academic year 2026/2027 :
- Faculty of Physical Therapy: EGP 78,000 annually (including administrative fees).
- Faculty of Engineering: EGP 55,000 annually (including administrative fees).
- Faculty of Political Science, Economics, and Business Administration: EGP 42,000 annually (including administrative fees).
- Faculty of Nursing : EGP 45,000 annually (including administrative fees).
- The final admission depends on the student meeting the minimum requirements set by the Supreme Council of Private and National Universities.
3. Refund Policy
- Refund requests must be submitted by the student’s legal guardian.
- The following deductions apply to tuition refunds:
- 10% deduction if withdrawal is requested before the first official start day of the semester.
- 50% deduction if withdrawal is requested within the first month of the semester.
- 50% deduction if an Egyptian male student is accepted into a military academy (subject to proof of acceptance).
- No refunds are issued after the first month of the semester.
- Application fees are non-refundable in all cases.
- Bus fees are non-refundable after the first official start day of the semester.
- Tuition refunds apply only to educational fees and exclude administrative fees.
- Refunds will be issued within one month of the official withdrawal request approval, via a bank check.
- Only the student’s legal guardian or an authorized person with a notarized Private Power of Attorney can receive the refunded amount.
4. English Proficiency Requirements
- Admission to the Faculty of Physical Therapy requires a minimum B1 grade in MUC’s English Placement Test.
- All applicants must take the university’s English Placement Test.
5. Student Responsibilities
Students who qualify for admission must submit all original required documents and pay tuition fees within five business days of result announcement, or they may forfeit their place at the university.
6. Privacy Policy
- MUC is committed to protecting personal information collected from students, faculty, and staff.
- Personal information is collected, stored, and processed securely, in compliance with applicable laws and university policies.
- The university limits the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data to necessary academic, research, and administrative purposes.
- Personal information is retained only as long as necessary, following MUC’s Record Retention Schedule and relevant regulations.
- The university may disclose personal information to third parties in response to legal requests, court orders, or to report illegal activities.
7. Amendments
MUC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the university’s official website and become effective immediately upon publication.
